Brittni Thompson is a Senior Education Ombuds. Before joining the OEO team, Brittni served in various student support roles, including Secondary School Counseling Program Supervisor at OSPI, College and Career Readiness and CTE facilitator at Federal Way Public Schools, and high school counselor in Seattle Public Schools.
Brittni believes that each child comes into school as a unique and special individual with the potential for success, and this drives her passion for supporting and empowering students, families, and the people who support them.
Brittni is the proud mom of a vivacious and sassy 4-year-old who keeps her on her toes and keeps her laughing. In her free time, Brittni loves to explore new places with her daughter, read lots of fiction, crochet, and watch extensive amounts of true crime tv.
