Danielle Eidenberg Bio

Danielle Eidenberg is a Senior Education Ombuds with the Office of the Education Ombuds. She has worked as a K-12 educator in Washington State for the last 30 years, the last 13 years as an Education Ombuds.

In addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis, Ms. Eidenberg received a Masters in Teaching (with endorsements in English Language Learning (ELL), Cultural Anthropology, English Language Arts and Elementary Education) from Seattle University. Ms. Eidenberg is also a Certified Parent Coach® having earned this certification through Seattle Pacific University's Parent Coaching Institute.

Ms. Eidenberg has taught elementary and high school ELL, high school Cultural Anthropology, and taught, developed, and coordinated intergenerational oral history and audio arts programs for recent immigrant and refugee students of all ages. She also worked for several years as the Family Involvement Coordinator at Neighborhood House, an agency serving Seattle's low income communities.

As an Education Ombuds, Ms. Eidenberg enjoys working with families and schools across Washington State to support students through positive and productive school-family communication.
