学校出勤、缺勤和旷课
华盛顿州具有一项名为“贝卡法案”的州立法律,要求所有8至18岁的儿童定期上学。 根据法律要求,父母或法定监护人必须确保其子女参加学习。 学生可以在公立学校、私立学校或家庭学校就读。 根据法律要求,除非有正当理由,否则,学生每天都必须全日制在校学习。 如果学生无正当理由缺勤,就可能被视为“旷课 ” 学生旷课时,学校必须:
- 通知学生家长;
